Take M6 signed Dublin

At junction16 leave the M6 signposted Loughrea

Follow signs for Portumna N65 Straight through Killimor

Enter Portumna turn left onto Main St, continue straight through town

Cross the bridge and turn left onto R489 signposted Birr

Arrive at Tearaways 16km on left

From Athlone

Take Old Dublin road R446

Turn right onto N62 signposted Birr

Straight through Doon

Straight through Ferbane

In Cloghan take 2nd exit off roundabout towards Banagher

Continue straight toward Borrisokane At Taylors Cross continue straight onto R438

Continue 8km turn left onto R489 sighposted Birr

From Roscrea

Take N62 towards Birr

Enter Birr and take 1st Exit off Tesco roundabout towards Portumna / Nenagh

Enter Riverstown and turn right onto R489 signposted Portumna
